Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley narrowly upset Democratic socialist Francesca Hong in Wisconsin's Democratic gubernatorial primary, winning by 3,200 votes out of more than 787,000 cast despite polls showing Hong ahead by double digits in the final stretch.

Gov. Kathy Hochul leads Republican Bruce Blakeman by just 10 points — 49% to 39% — among likely voters in a new Siena College survey, putting the Nassau County executive in a stronger position than Lee Zeldin was at this point in 2022.
